I would like to know where the science is behind these proposed changes since it certainly looks like it only helps the trappers. Where are the changes to increase safety for all others not meant to get caught in these traps? The reality is that this is another old, unnecessary, and barbaric industry that needs to disappear. Then we can focus on the important issues such as climate change and prevention of any more extinction.
