Description of instrument
Strada Aggregates Inc. has applied for a Class “A” licence (Category 3 - Pit Above Water) to excavate aggregate from a pit 60.7 hectares (ha) in size, with an extraction area of 48.4 ha. This application is for the establishment of a new pit. It is proposed that all tonnage removed under the proposed licence and adjacent ARA licence #’s 129167 and 625155 will be combined for a total annual tonnage of 1,250,000.
