Good day.
Regarding the location of the concrete batching plant being proposed at the 5th and 4th in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
This is not a suitable location for this type of operation due to the water course that flows from the site to the Schomberg Creek and from there into the Holland Marsh canals and irrigation systems. The Marsh is an invaluable agricultural area and run off and pollutants of materials used in concrete production have the potential to cause irreversible damage to this incredibly rich farmland and impact / contaminate food production. Unfortunately, the government has time and again shown a lack of regard for preserving farmland in favour of corporations and so I urge you to reconsider the location of this facility.
