Bike lanes do not cause gridlock. More cars cause gridlock. Removing bike lanes will only increase the number of people driving which will increase the number of cars on the road which will increase congestion. Induced demand is well known at this point. Please leave the decisions about where to install bike lanes to municipal jurisdiction where they know what’s best for their communities.
