I bike to drop my 2 kids off at school and then continue on to commute to work every day. Preventing new bike lanes and removing existing lanes will but me and my children in danger, and potentially add one more car to the road if I feel like cycling isn’t a safe option.
Studies have shown that bike lanes alleviate congestion, not cause it. This is a nakedly partisan attempt to stoke culture wars (pitting suburban voters against urban), will do nothing to alleviate congestion, and will put my family in danger.
Stay out of (municipal) politics, Doug.
