This bill will result in deaths due to a lack of safe cycling infrastructure in our supposed "world-class" city. We need LESS red tape preventing our city from improving cycling infrastructure, the opposite of what this bill will do. Enabling our citizens to get around safely by sustainable means of transportation like cycling should be a top priority for both the province and the city. More, better, and safer cycling infrastructure will result in more people choosing to cycle, which will mean less cars on the road and less traffic congestion in the long term. Please do not allow this bill to pass.
