Don't spend my tax dollars on tearing out sorely needed infrastructure.
Look at the science and research surrounding bike lanes - the long-term improvement on traffic congestion as alternatives to cars become available; the improved safety, resulting in lower healthcare costs.

This doesn't take into account the reduction of cars on the road that a good network of bike lanes will induce.
Leave bike lanes alone - put whatever money would be wasted with this bill into funding public transit.
