Bill 4, Cap and Trade…

Bill 4, Cap and Trade Cancellation Act, 2018, is a major step back in our fight against climate change. As no plan has been communicated to take it's place, I have little faith that this Ford government is prepared to take any real action for the common good of the planet and our province. Perhaps the government could invest more time in educating themselves with respect to the economics of a carbon tax and worry less about $1.00 beers. Franky, cancelling the opportunity to monetize pollution is like reversing the sales tax on cigarettes. It's clear we are addicted to our oil, gas, and animal products and we need to change.
