In a time when we need to be acting on climate change, why is the ontario government dismantling policies that would help mitigate climate change ?
All around the world countries are Moving towards a clean economy, yet Ontario is moving backwards. This is not the time to be playing party politics, rather, the time to set an example and do something that the future generations will thank us for.
Putting a price on carbon is the most effective way to reduce GHG emissions.
I want to feel proud for living in Ontario- and currently I don’t.
If cap and trade isn’t working , then maybe we should look At “A Fee and Dividend” program instead.
Abolishing a price on carbon completely is not the answer.
Do the right thing. So when future generations ask you , “what did you do when you knew what was happening”, you have an answer you’re not ashamed of.
