Cancelling this bill is extremely short sided. For the welfare and public health of all living in Ontario, and for future generations to come, DO NOT CANCEL the cap and trade bill.
Carbon pricing with a cap and trade system can do the following, among others:
1) reduce spending on public health (for instance, remember Quebec's deadly heat waves this past summer?)
2) benefit farmers with the opportunity for them to "grow carbon storage" - see the proposed Toby Barrett Bill (https://www.todaysfarmer.ca/news/national/mpp-toby-barrett-files-bill-f…)
Aren't those benefits alone worth fighting for? DO NOT cancel the cap and trade act!!!
