To Whom It May Concern,

I am dismayed that the Ontario Government is abandoning the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act (2016) without having an alternative Climate Change Act in place.

I am concerned that the Ontario Government does not take emissions targets seriously and has no will to implement meaningful targets (meeting at minimum the Paris Climate Agreement targets or more ambitious ones) that are legally binding.

My top political priority is developing a strategy for Ontario to have an economy that is environmentally sustainable. This needs both support for innovation and the "clean" economy and economic dis-incentives for carbon-intensive activities.
