It is ridiculous that we continue to prioritize cars. The number of commuter cyclists on my way to work has been steadily increasing every year for the past decade, and I have no doubt this is largely due to the improvements and creation of safer cycling infrastructure in my community. If only a fraction of the public dollars spent on roadways and insane ideas like tunneling under the 401 were spent on giving citizens alternative options to sitting in their cars, I would be more inclined to believe that this government is actually interested in improving the quality of life of the people of Ontario. People never look as happy in their cars as the do on their bikes.
