Dear Minister of the Environment , Conservation and Parks,
Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to this important consultation on the future of Ontario’s climate plan.
I am very concerned for our future, that of our children's, and that of the environment. The UN IPCC's recent warnings are dire and we cannot accept to do nothing in response. I do not support repealing the current Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016. I do support further measures to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions (ghg) in Ontario.
Please listen to the science on climate change and take a leadership position in developing policies and programs that incentivize and support a low carbon economy, and that reduce our province's ghg emissions.
