All statistics collected by agencies responsible for traffic show that bike lanes improve traffic, not increase gridlock.
Regardless of how many lanes you add, you will induce demand and not escape gridlock.
The only solution to Toronto's traffic problem is to encourage people not to drive.
Removing bike lanes will increase car traffic.
Additionally, the government of Ontario exercising power Toronto's urban planning is a gross overreach of government power.
I strongly oppose this proposal.
