Removing bike lanes in municipalities will not reduce traffic gridlock.
Neither will adding more traffic lanes to Ontario roads and highways. This just results in more cars on the roads, more congestion, more air pollution, more degradation of the environment, and the loss of our critical farmlands.
This has been studied for decades around the world. Investing in public transportation, and making communities more livable through pedestrian and cycling infracture is the solution to thriving municipalities now and in the future.
