Although I don't believe your government will actually take any of the public opinion seriously in your decisions, I will say that repealing the Cap and Trade agreement will be looked upon in history as the greatest failure of this government. The only way to justify doing it would be is for immediate political gain with absolutely no regard for future generations. For anyone to repeal this act who either has children or has any concern for children and future generations would make them the most unfeeling monsters imaginable (I would use strong language but it is not appropriate here). Just let it be known that history will record the people who made a different for future generations and those who were only interested in what they could gain at the moment.
