We are long term residents…

We are long term residents of Adelaide Metcalfe and and live close to this proposed site.We are very concerned about the environmental damage that rain water runoff from this proposed site will cause.Twice last summer and once again just recently we had rain events that dumped 6 inches plus in each single event.July 20/23 our 6 inch rain guage was overflowing.Again in Aug 2023 we had another deluge rainfall event that washed out a huge culvert on Dundonald Line and caused the death of transport tractor driver when his vehicle entered the washout.This culvert was all engineered and designed to handle that rain event but things happen.
This proposed site cannot handle these types of rain events and the resulting runoff will cause significant unnecessary environmental damage.
We are not talking about a once in a lifetime rain events rather we are talking about 3 such rain events in 15 months.
