I understand traffic needs to get moving but the bike lanes that are already in place should probably stay. I feel like spending all that money removing them is a major break from this government's reputation of fiscal responsibility, for relatively little gain.
Also it seems like a lot of traffic experts are now saying this new bill won't help that much. I'm wondering if the province has any other ideas that might make more of an impact (congestion charge, public transit expansion, etc.).
