Please don't jeopardize progress made on encouraging safer and healthier commuting around the city, as well as making our streets more pleasant, for no benefit. All the evidence suggests that bike lanes reduce congestion. As such, what the province is doing is the opposite of common sense policymaking and most of the people who support it don't live in Toronto. This is a municipal issue and should be addressed the municipal level of government.
