I am writing today in response to your Bait Management Plan. I understand that you are worried about bringing invasive species into the park but this will be devastating to our business along with the tourism industry and bait dealers. If you are talking about the Woodland Caribou Park the bait is being caught in the lakes or the lakes beside the park so I do not see how they could introduce new species into the lakes. The bait fishermen already follow strike guidelines on the sale of their bait so I am not sure why you would need to be concerned. If you have concerns about the bait being brought into the park why not make them have reciepts from the bait dealer. As for the residents 30-50 % does not hold up in our area. What will the MNR be doing about the invasive birds that have now moved into the park like the pelicans that where not there years before?
