This action goes against what the people living in this city want and need. We have just finished construction on many of these bike lanes and now you want to rip them up despite the fact that they improve safety? We are in a climate crisis. We are waiting for this government to finish construction on the Eglington LRT. This is not evidence based. This is not what the people of this city want. This is a way for the Ontario government to distract the public from all of the bad deals you are trying to push through. Enough. Doug Ford is a stain on this province and the people of Toronto have always known it. Taking out bike lanes in the midst of a climate crisis is as shameful as ripping out Ontario Place.
