This seems like a page taken from the gas guzzling 1970s. The reason there is gridlock is because there are too many cars now and not enough public transportation networks. European and Asian cities have more regional commuter train and bus networks. We should be building those instead of new highways that encourage more cars. The addiction is gasoline and in about 10 years all the major fuel retailers are going to be selling a lot less of it. So we will have built a highway for nothing, spending…er giving money to Ford’s buddies in construction. He’s a man with yesterday’s ideas.
