The idea of ripping out bike lanes is one of the worst Ontario has ever had. Toronto cannot beat gridlock by making more room for cars, nor should it be removing no-emissions methods of transportation in favor of more driving. The premier represents people, not automobiles — and if he was truly a small-government conservative, he would stop interfering in municipal issues and stick to his own job.
