It is more important than ever to widely support and implement green energy production, infrastructure and use in Ontario in order to keep the climate from warming and creating extreme weather events and massive destruction. We owe this to our children and future generations. We cannot continue to solely focus on business, jobs and money and ignore the fact that we are over-exploiting the planet. To scrap the Green Energy Act sends a message to the people of Ontario to please do just that: to ignore climate change and mass extinction and focus on their own economic growth.
