I do not support this bill and would like to see it withdrawn for the following reasons:
1. It adds provincial restrictions to municipal problems, which will set a precedent of taking control away from municipalities and will prevent municipalities from solving their own issues in the future.
2. cycling wont end, it will just return to being with/in cars/car lanes, adding stress to drivers and more safety risks to cyclists.
3. like 1, it makes the provincial government act like munipical governments. Local infrastructure is not the provincial governments jurisdiction, provincial scale infrastructure should be the focus.
