This is so ridiculous.
I, among many other torontonians require these routes to get around the city every day.
We do not need more cars on the road for congestion. More lanes does not equal less traffic if you read literally any urban planning research.
These bike lanes are the only reason why bikers are able to get around the city faster than vehicles. We already issue have bike related deaths due to poor or negligence of bikers on the road. These bike lanes are one of our few means of protection.
Leave the bike lanes alone. If you want to get around in a way that benefits everyone, fund public transit or just get a bike.
