This hurts for me to hear and really shows how we are going backwards in terms of transportation infrastructure in Ontario. I do not agree with this Bill and I believe this is a terrible idea. We need to start following the footsteps of countries like Netherlands and stop taking leaps backward. There’s numerous studies providing that adding another traffic lane does not improve road congestion. It incentivizes more people to drive and will always lead to more congestion. Ontario cities needs better and safer bike lane infrastructure and better public transit. The over reliance on cars needs to stop.
