Thanks very much for introducing some pragmatism to the bike-lane debate.
While there is undoubtedly a place for dedicated bike-lanes in the GTA, major thoroughfares are not the that place.
If a major artery must be reduced to 50% of its capacity in order to install a bike lane, then said bike lane should be located elsewhere on a secondary or tertiary road.
