As a regular driver in downtown Toronto, I have noticed a significant decrease in my stress of driving since the new bike lanes have been installed. It is far less stressful to drive when the bikers are separated into their own bike lanes compared to before when they were weaving in and out of car traffic and/or having the cars weave around them if the biker is riding in the curb lane.
Plus, it seems to me that having boundary separated bike lanes are far more safer for everyone!
