I am a Toronto resident without a car and rely on the city bike lanes for safe transportation to and from work. I understand the frustration of drivers stuck in gridlock, but removing bike lanes will not solve the congestion of the city. Even if you remove bike lanes, I will continue to bike to/from work but I will now be more vulnerable to being injured or killed during my daily commute. Bike lanes save lives, please don't remove them.
