Removing existing bike lanes is a reckless, expensive undertaking. Bikes are not a problem in street gridlock. Too many cars (and not enough transit) are the problem. Bikes (and bike lanes) are constantly easing the congestion, and removing them is a terrible, terrible idea. People will die. Congestion will stay the same.
Please reconsider.
