I am strongly against this bill. Not only does removing bike lanes create the need for alternative, motor-based methods of travel which in fact exacerbate the traffic issue, but it also promotes a more inactive lifestyle, which places an added strain on the healthcare system from a population with more health issues. I also fail to see how specific streets in Toronto are relevant in the context of a provincial bill.
