Why would our elected officials allow a foreign multinational corporation take one of our most important resources at all, let alone at a price which is outrageously low. Why, when the term of extraction has long expired is a corporation still taking water without penalty or steps being taken against them to stop the theft. I may mis-understand such things, but if I were to ignore the terms of a contract I believe that I would end up in "hot water". For THAT corporation, the cool running water has not yet been turned off. To the casual observer, there is a certain pungency to the whole issue of the extraction of water to be sold in PLASTIC bottles for immense profit, and little government effort to prevent further such occurrence.
