Please do not remove bike lanes from Toronto streets. Many residents are happy that drivers are forced to slow down and drive more carefully as this makes the streets safer for ALL users including pedestrians.
Faster cars and more cars make this city dirtier, more congested and importantly unsafe for not only cyclists and pedestrians, but drivers too.
Congestion is caused by construction closures, illegal parking and inadequate transit options. PLEASE OPEN THE EGLINTON CROSSTOWN TO GET CARS OFF THE ROAD.
