It makes no business or environmental sense to cancel the White Pines Project.

When a person or group invests millions of dollars and years spent getting all approvals it is hard to believe that Ontario is open for business. This is especially true when the infrastructure was paid for by the principals, not the government and would have provided generation below the cost of most energy alternatives.

The fact that this is an environmental project designed to address climate breakdown, an existential threat to all of us, it is perverse to require the dismantling of the 4 turbines already in place (and the other 5 in the process of being assembled) and thereby further endanger the immediate biodiversity in the area.
