I believe the White Pines Wind Farm has less of an environmental impact that other sources of electricity generation (when considering the entire life cycle of electricity production. Example -with natural gas, we drill a well, capture the gas, send down pipeline across the country side, build large gas plant and then exhaust pollution). After the wind farm is built (not that everything is already manufactured) there will be no environmental impact.
Also, from a financial perspective, the property is purchased, the equipment bought an paid for, the construction was started. The government will have to pay out these costs and have nothing to show for it's expenses. This is a waste of tax payers money!!
