I'm sad and frustrated that…

I'm sad and frustrated that the current PC government feels that renewable energy is a "waste of taxpayer's money," when clearly, renewable energy is the way of the future... however I suppose I shouldn't be surprised with the PC's.

They are, after all, the same group of inwardly looking and lack of faith politicians that cancelled the Arrow. A project that would have seen Canada leading the way in world aviation... but hey... airplanes weren't important in the 1950's, were they?

Interestingly, these were the same group of scientists that went on to create the Lunar Lander to land a man on the moon and return them safe to the planet... well, of course that was over 50 years ago. Good thing they're not returning these days... there may not be a planet left to return them to with the current government's "grasp of global civilization and problems."

The PC's are also the same group of aristocrats that censored scientists, yes, albeit the federal ones this time, but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

As a proud Canadian, living in a developed country... one of the FEW countries in the world that actually has all the resources and space to prove renewable energy works... tide... wind... solar... hydro... I feel it is a national disaster that will haunt Canadians for the rest of the planet's life. It will be another Arrow disaster.

I would like to see the White Pines Wind Project refunded and continue it's mandate. THAT is how I want my tax payer dollars spent, instead of on a half-million one day severance package to the Hydro commissioner.

Shame on the government and shame on anyone that supports fossil fuel. We, the people are doing our bit to save the planet. What is the government doing?

It seems that Ontario is most definitely "not a place to grow."
