Study shows that bike lanes actually improve traffic congestion, so the provincial government's refusal to believe scientific data and disregard for the safety of bicycle users are egregious.
Money should have been spent on improving public transit and maintaining bike lanes to reduce the need for more individual vehicles on the street. Instead, this government is proposing to remove the bike lanes that were just completed for their own political dog-whistling.
