It is absolutely ridiculous to close down such an ecologically friendly project so near to completion, and spend so many MILLIONS of dollars to tear it down, when we need every bit of green energy that we can get. Our carbon emissions are already way too high, and with electric cars becoming the new wave of vehicles, demand for green electricity is only going to increase.
Do you recall when Kathleen Wynne first came into office and had to buy out two LNG plants before they were built? Do you recall the fuss that the PC party made about the cost of that decision? It will happen to you - do you really want to have this very same scenario on your watch?
The whole idea behind this bill is ABSOLUTELY STUPID! Let White Pine Wind open and do what we have already paid to have it do, produce electricity.
