Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback on bill 212. I wholeheartedly stand against removing safe cycling infrastructure from our roads in Ontario in favour of vehicle lanes. Not only will removing bike lanes make the shared roads dangerous and deadly for people on bikes, but it will continue to create communities that are car-dependant, and anti-public transit. I want an Ontario that prioritizes transportation by bike, bus, walking, carpooling and other sustainable methods. Not more drivers on wider roads that endanger people and the environment. The truth is, single occupancy vehicles are what create gridlock, traffic and waste our time, not cyclists, public transit and pedestrians on foot. Please do not pass this bill!!
