I am very concerned that the Ford government is stopping this project for wind turbines in Prince Edward County. The project is relatively modest and environmental concerns have been thoroughly addressed. This is a short sighted decision that sends a terrible message to international investors about the meddling of the Ontario Government in private company projects that have long been approved. I am frankly tired of this government like so many governments wasting taxpayers money by arbitrarily cancelling the work of the previous government. There is something fundamentally wrong with our system that allows this willful misuse of power. We need a better system that better represents all the voters and does not discount the work of the previous elected government. Government needs to be more considered in its decisions.
