I am a teacher, mother, and Guelph resident. I support extending the moratorium on water bottling permits. I would like to see the water bottling industry phased out or the implementation of a bottle deposit system. I am concerned about the impacts of excess plastic waste. I am also very concerned about the availability of groundwater. Our limited freshwater resources should not be given away for private profit. There is nothing more important for life than water.
