I am strongly opposed to Bill 212. We need more bike lanes, not fewer. More roads equals more congestion not less. The provincial government needs to be more concerned about people's health and safety. We need to continue to improve public transit. The Ontario government should be listening to physician concerns, municipality concerns and the concerns of the public.
Mayor Chow and Toronto City Council formally expressed their opposition to Bill 212.
120 physicians and researchers wrote a joint letter opposing Bill 212.
Association of Municipalities of Ontario, Ontario Professional Planners Institute, Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, and Ontario Traffic Council have all come out against Bill 212.
Bill 212 should not be passed. Please stop Bill 212
