Many will have commented on the environmental issues pertaining to this cancellation. I would like to point out the shortsightedness of this action in light of present and future voters.
There are two movements presently gaining traction in today's world 1) Divestment from companies involved in the fossil fuel industry (many of the larger corporations have expressed that this is the biggest threat to future profits). 2) Student protest as they start to challenge inactivity by the older generation in addressing climate change.
I was a lifelong conservative until the Province's cancellation of renewable energy projects.
There is still time to reverse this shortsighted action. Please do so.
