The White Pines Wind Project…

The White Pines Wind Project cannot fairly be terminated after the company who has built it has been working for 9 plus years under a legal contract. If Ontario is indeed "open for business", as Premier Ford claims, then he cannot sensibly cancel this project. Cancellation sends the wrong message to investors, both foreign and domestic.
Moreover, we need to continue to diversify our energy production in view of our aging nuclear plants which are well past their end of service dates (Pickering Nuclear Plant just received another 10 year extension). We need to move forward in energy production, not retreat to the 1960's.
