I use the proposed bike lane removals in bill 212 on a daily basis to get around the city. If I did not I would ba another car on the road. Cars also appreciate that I have a safe designated lane that they can safely maneuver around while they get around the city. If I did not have this lane I would have to ride down the centre of the traffic lane with the cars further slowing the car progress just to keepyself safe as I will not stop riding around the city. If this bill is to be made law no further bike lanes will be built and it will not stop gridlock. To effectively address gridlock we need to come up with better ways other than cars to get around the city.
