To whom it may concern,

Please halt your proposal to dismantle the white pines wind project.

As a country, as a people, we should be leading the way on moving towards renewable energy. Our dependence on finite fossil fuels is destroying the country and destroying the world. This is undisputed by 99% of scientists.

Whilst Canada has this historical fascination with dragging oil out of the unprofitable and destructive oil sands, we should be seizing the chance to become leaders in reducing our reliance in these fossil fuels. Wind, solar and wave technology are those solutions.

Some people consider them unsightly. I disagree. They are necessary. The more we can do to create our own renewable power, the better protected our country can be as a whole.

This recent conservative election on Ford has been a nightmare. Stepping back into the dark ages relating to so many things. However, moving towards renewable energy needs to be non-partisan. We all need to do it, this can't be a political move. It is undisputed that we are destroying the environment as it stands.

Please consider the next generations and try to set a good example to them that we need to adopt renewable energy to allow us to grow sustainably.
