The bike lanes in Toronto are vastly underused and a total waste of space. We can keep a few so that there is a bike network for cyclists to use, but we don’t need bike lanes on every street. For instance there’s bike lanes on almost every major east-west arterial through downtown Toronto (Dupont, Bloor, Harbord, College). Cut back to one of these streets. We need to prioritize public transit as the best enviro friendly way to move people, not bikes.
