The province should not be reducing bike lanes, instead should encourage alternate modes of transport to reduce car usage.
Increasing dedicated bike lanes is a core strategy to support environmental goals.
And, from a fiscal perspective, why spend resources on redoing bike lanes? Let municipalities decide on bike lanes, and lets focus resources on provincial domain and work on improving transit between cities.
