Although the populations of cormorants have stabilized since the 1970s, colonies are rarely isolated from other colonial waterbird species, the status of which is precarious.
Proposed hunting season overlaps with the reproduction season of other species.
Hunting of this species is also putting the general population at risk.
I do not support this proposal.
